7th Street Depot/Central Station

7th and Main, where Museum Plaza was going to be built. 1891 - 1963, demolished for construction of I-64. This, the still standing Union Station and L&N Railroad Bldg. (10th and Broadway area), and other structures remind us that Louisville was once a major rail town - cargo, passenger, light rail/streetcars, etc. Perhaps one day, we can return to this efficient mode of transportation instead of focusing all attention on roads, interstates, and bridges...
